LUSH Dream Cream {Review}

LUSH Dream Cream
So I just finished this little tub recently. I thought I'd share my thoughts on LUSH's popular and best-selling Dream Cream. My first impression, the smell. It's definitely not something I'd expect it to be. When I saw the name "dream cream", I thought of something with sweet or floral scents. But the smell of this Dream Cream was actually quite interesting at first. It smells calm and earthy. And it definitely needs some "get-used-to-it" time.

It's quite greasy if used in summer, but in winter time this was just ok. I applied it to my body right after shower. And it did take a bit of time for the cream to sink in. The smell lingered for couple hours. Aside from dry & sensitive skin, I personally do not have any other skin problems. And I think my trusty Lubriderm can do the job for me with a bigger bottle and a cheaper price tag. However, I found the smell of Dream Cream quite soothing after some uses and I liked it before bed time.

The consistency was quite thick, think of regular yogurt, but not as thick as body butter. The cream could fall if you hold the tub upside down for too long. (who would do that?! ¬‿¬)

Ingredients: (from LUSH.com)
Oat Milk (Avena sativa) , Rose Water (Rosa centifolia) , Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Olea europaea) , Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) , Glycerine , Stearic Acid , Triethanolamine , Tincture of Benzoin (Styrax benzoin) , Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia) , Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla) , Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) , Lavender Oil (Lavandula hybrida) , Cetearyl Alcohol , *Geraniol , *Limonene , *Linalool , Fragrance , Methylparaben , Propylparaben

Overall, I think it's a nice body cream. And I loved that the ingredients are filled with all the goodness.  With oat milk to calm the skin, lavender and chamomile to care for irritations and redness, olive oil and cocoa butter for dry and chapped skin. The smells was quite calm. However, one little tub is not cheap considering the usage for the whole body. (8.4 oz / $26.95). I heard this cream is great for people with eczema. I don't have eczema so I can't comment on that part.

Have you tried LUSH's Dream Cream? Do you like it?

Thanks for reading.
