Maybelline Color Whisper by Color Sensational - Pin Up Peach {Review and Swatch}

Since spring is (almost) here, I thought it's a good time to write something spring-y. In today's post, I would like to do a mini review and swatch on a Maybelline lippie that I really like lately.

Maybelline Color Whisper - Pin Up Peach is a warm coral/peachy pink with very fine shimmers that's not at all noticeable once applied on the lips. It's a very beautiful MLBB (aka: my lips but better) color.  The wear is very comfortable, light and moisturizing even without the use of lip balm underneath. It's like a hybrid of lip balm + lipstick - my lips always feel very soft and dewy when using this lippie.

The color payoff/pigmentation is good (it's a natural looking lip shade, but definitely not sheer) and is buildable. The texture is very creamy, but not too soft which makes the application effortlessly!

Packaging is simple and cute. It's pretty similar to Revlon's lip butter packaging. Also, the lippie inside matches the cap outside which makes life so much easier if you have a bigger lipstick collection.

The only downside is probably the staying power. The wear time is short if you eat or drink. Otherwise, 1~1.5 hours is pretty promising. And since the application is so easy, I don't mind the re-application.

Price is very affordable and can be found in most drugstores and online.

Have you tried any lippies from Maybelline Color Whisper? What shades do you have? What do you think? and How do you feel? What's your favorite lipstick shade(s) for spring? let me know!! :)
